Egypt, as we all know, is a Muslim country.In consequence, a conservative country. Be aware that tourists have been assaulted in Sinai. Although rape is rare, it does occur so try not to stay alone in isolated locations. Keep in mind that offending local people and topless sunbathing are illegal in Egypt.
