Always remember that Sinai’s climate is extreme so water is indispensable. Use copious amounts of sun block in order to protect your skin and wear sensible clothes to avoid sunburn. It is recommended to wear a t-shirt while snorkelling, and a hat or a scarf if you go on the beach.
While summer temperatures can climb to 50° C (120°F), it can also get very cold at night. Remember to bring with you warm clothes. If you camp out in winter you will need a sleeping bag and a thick jacket because snow is frequent in this period on Mountain Sinai.
